I love this picture because mason kept following mr. potatoe head around wanting to play with his eyes, nose and such- they were removable. Mason sleeps with his mr. potatoe head- so seeing a real life one was probably like seeing santa clause.

Mason is so cute-- we also got him a little desk for his birthday and he loves it- he colors on it, plays with his computer- he loves to open the top and put all sorts of things in it.

Happy 4th anniversay to us. Andy's mom watched the kids for us so we could take a quick trip to las vegas-(it's only a few hours away from kanab). We Loved IT!!! It was so fun-We shopped, ate at a buffet, gambled some, and just had the best time getting to hold hands as we walked. First time without the kids since we were married. Thanks vicky your the best!!!

We went to a pow wow on a indian reservation but got there to late to see all the cool dancing, but I did get to see the costumes, oh maybe next year.

This is Mason giving Emery lots and lots of loves--He missed her. Emery this last week had pneumonia and had to be hospitalized for a couple of days. Sad days but she is home now and doing great! It was super cute to see mason give her hugs and kisses. . . leave for a second then come back and give her more hugs and kisses. I am so grateful that all this happen over spring break when Andy could be home with mason- Also Andy's parents had originally planned on coming up to see us for spring break-- well they saw us and that was about it--So grateful that they were here- it was very comforting. Mason sure loved it!! A LOT!

Ok so this picture still cracks me up because I had put Emery next to mason when he was playing and she wouldn't leave him alone- it was so funny- she just kept grabbing him over and over again. At first, mason would laugh then I think he got tired of it, but Emery didn't. She sure does love her big brother. Mason is so funny he can get her to full out laugh- it's Hillarious!

Grandma and Grandpa Roundy got Mason and Emery a playhouse for christmas- Mason was so excited- He just thought it was the coolest thing.

Mason playing with his dishes that santa brought him- He loves getting into all our pots, pans, dishes everything- So it's a good thing santa brought him some of his own.

During Thanksgiving andy's family came to visit and it was so fun- It was great to have family here to talk to and play games with and to just be around.

Doesn't he look like an angel with his hands-

I can't wait for my date tonight with andy- I am so excited- we are of course staying home because who can afford a babysitter? but I'm still excited- once we put the kids down we are cooking pizza, watching the 6th Harry potter(we've seen it once already in theaters) and cuddling.

Where does the time go-Some people think that being a homemaker is easy, and I suppose for some it is but I feel busy most of my days. Busy in a good productive way- Sometimes I wonder what my friends are up to and what they do throughout their days- so here are some things I do in a typical week-
Bath kids a few times and get them ready for the day
Make food for the kids and feed them
Read either a conference address or scriptures
Exercise 3 days a week
plan out dinner meals and put them on a calendar-works great bc andy and I never know what we want to eat
Read stories with mason and work on words
Wash/dry and fold laundry
Pick up around the house- we have a chore sheet that we do a few clean up things a day- andy didn't like cleaning everything on saturday so he came up with a chore a day which has turned out really good
This week I have been organizing emery's room bc we moved her into it finally.
Appointments if we have them
grocery shopping -which could take a good portion of the day-
Ebay things I don't need
Oh- yeah get myself ready
Blogging- which most weeks I don't get to- but I love at least caughing up on what you all are doing- especially checking out ashely's craft blog.
Read --currently finishing up Inkheart( I love to just sit down and devour a book- becca can testify to that from college but now with having kids there is no way I have that much time- so reading a book takes a lot longer for me.
Christmas stuff- wrapping and so forth
Make dinner(but not clean up bc that is andy's job yeah)
Play with mason and emery then jammies and brush their teeth
Then I try to give some quality time to andy but I am usually so tired- My poor husband- I love you babe.
Those are some of the things I do in a typical week-

If you need a good girl christmas movie to watch I would recommend the Christmas Card- I just love that show. Actually andy really likes it too- he loves the big log cabin home and the funny dad. I watch it at least 3 times each christmas- It's cheesy but not to cheesy in my opinion.

Ward Halloween Party!!

Our ward halloween party was so fun- The best part was trick or treating with mason as he went door to door in the stake center getting candy. At first he didn't get it but that didn't last long. Everytime he got a piece of candy he wanted to stop and eat it. He was so dang cute holding up he sand bucket ( we forgot to get him a pumpkin bucket) for the candy. I had so much fun watching him grow and have fun. He was suppose to be a dinoasur but he hated having the hood on and didn't want to wear it so I cut up some old fabic I had and he was a mummy this year.

Emery is such a good baby- maybe it's because I thought Mason was a difficult baby- so compared to him she is great. Or it could just be that she is a second child and I have already gone through it all once before- who knows, maybe a little bit of both. I haven't attempted leaving the house yet with my two kidos but tomorrow I have a doctors appointment so . . . here we go. Everything will be just fine- probably just everything will take double the time.

So I finally got around to reading "New Moon," seeing how the movie will be coming out soon. I have to say I did like it better then the first book- but I still don't like bella's character. Sorry to all those out there that LOVE her- but she annoys me big time. I did, however, enjoy Jacob's character as well as the story line. You know I finished the book in two days- not because it was so good but because my friend Brooke said everytime you sit down to nurse pick up a book- Wow- who knew I nursed that much in two days- Emery is a good eater -she's looking cubblier each day.

Mason just loves to give kisses to Emery- He also loves to take off her socks and touch her toes. That's my funny little Man.

My delivery of Emery was through a C-section due to the fact that she was breech. At first I was disappointed because It's not something I had anticipated but besides being nervous for the c-section it went really well. I liked not having contractions or having to push. Compared to my first baby (vaginally) this recovery has also be easier.
